My work is a visual diary, translating fleeting perceptions into a painterly language that moves freely between abstraction and representation. Years ago I carried an easel across Italy, chasing the 9 a.m. light as it softened into 5 p.m. gold—too much to hold, too little held. In that struggle, I discovered painting’s true gift: a radiant, urgent joy that demands both expression and abstraction. Working primarily in acrylic and mixed media, I build layered fields of color, form, and pattern with open end dialogue. Each mark and brushstroke record an act of looking—questioning, refining, then letting go until the painting feels as alive as the moment. Above all, I hope to invite viewers into this ongoing story before the world with eyes and heart wide open.
